This virtual event is a fun and exciting annual fundraising event for the entire family! THIS YEAR you can participate whichever way works best for you.... walk, run, bike ride, rollerblade, skateboard, peleton or whichever other form of exercise has been keeping you happy, safe and well. Participate in a MONTH LONG event with plenty of like-minded people raising funds for an incredible cause!
The annual Meta Foundation WALK, RELAY & GRAN FONDO not only raises funds, but also brings more awareness to the work being done at each of our Meta locations, by our dedicated staff. Learn about how we create safe and innovative spaces for people to live independently where possible, as well as encourage a positive, interactive community. By taking part in our event, you will have the opportunity to raise funds that will change the lives of the people we support.

HOW DOES THIS WORK?
REGISTER, START A TEAM, JOIN A TEAM AND BECOME A FUNDRAISER BY CLICKING HERE!
Register for the run online for a $10 donation fee (plus processing fees).

All registered participants will receive a fundraising page that they can customize, set their own personal goal and share with their family, friends and followers. We are offering great prizes to help incentivize all of our participants to raise more donations for the Meta Centre!
If you raise $50 through fundraising, you will receive an Adidas Cap!
If you raise $100 through fundraising, you will receive an Adidas Cap and Knapsack!
If you raise $250 through fundraising, you will receive an Adidas Cap, Knapsack and Hoodie!

Meta Centre is an innovative and highly successful, not-for-profit social services agency with over 30 years' experience serving approximately 600 children and adults with special needs in the Greater Toronto Area. Although we can not celebrate our 19th Annual Walk, Relay & Fondo in person, our Virtual Race will help us stay connected. This event will not only raise funds for our much needed services, but offer a healthy and enjoyable way for families to connect during these uncertain times. None of us could have anticipated this pandemic, but we are all impacted by it for many years to come and now more than ever, Meta Centre needs your help.
All revenue generated from the event will be used towards staff and clients getting through this difficult time. From offering virtual classes, to PPE equipment and qualified nurses, your help is needed and much appreciated.
Now is the time for us to come together... by staying apart.
Now is the time for us to help local non-profits which have seen their donations decrease when the needs in our community are greater than ever.
Now is the time for us to Stay Strong!
During this time of isolation, join together with runners and walkers all over the country in supporting their local charities and organizations.

Registered participants can begin running this virtual race event on JULY 1, 2020 at 12:00AM.
Registration for this event will close on JULY 31 at 10:00PM. All registrants must run their virtual race by 11:59PM on JULY 31. After that, time submissions will no longer be posted to the results
